For several reasons I have a beautiful memory of this wedding at Fattoria del Colle. Alberto and Enrica lives in Turin; but they have a strong link with Tuscany. When they want to breathe some peace, they take refuge for a few days at the Fattoria del Colle: a charming farm surrounded by the nature of Val d’Orcia. The beautiful and untouched landscape is the absolute protagonist in Val d’Orcia.
I met them for the first time on the day of their wedding at Fattoria del Colle and it all came very naturally. After a short ceremony in San Giovanni d’Asso we went to take pictures in the countryside ….. along the way. After a couple of minutes by car we found the ideal place. I remember it was around 7pm and the light was starting to become softer; the sky was very clear and the earth was very bright red. The silence was almost deafening! It was a late summer evening and I think I was very lucky to be there. The atmosphere was almost surreal …. like being on the moon!
Kind words from the couple: Our first approach to Guido was through his internet site: we were desperately searching for a non-traditional wedding photographer, someone who could catch unique moments while the are happening, avoiding too many posed pictures. We immediately found his works fresh, magic and very original, it really seemed each shot carried his personal style. When we contacted him, he confirmed to be also a nice guy, honest and professional. The day of our marriage, we particularly appreciated his ability to be everywhere, but in a very discrete way. The pictures we received, finally, were really nice and “real”…exactly what we expected!
